In the marketing system of the Electric Power Company,the most important economic indicator is the collection of electric charge.Timely and full collection of electric charge will protect Electric Power Company against any loss.With the enforcement of the electricity reform,the power selling market will open soon.Electricity Power Company will face the fact that customers will be redistricted result from the open of power selling market as well as the uncertainty of electricity charge collection due to the growing electricity consumption.In order to ensure the collection of electricity charge as well as make Electricity Power Company run well and free from any loss,it is very important to do the credit assessment on electricity customers.First of all,in the paper,the power customers of State Grid shanghai shibei electric power supply company are divided into two categories in accordance with the different electricity capacity.The first category is defined that the customers’ power consumption is between 1 to 99 KW which means they are medium-small sized capacity power users.The second category is defined that the customers’ power consumption is just or more than 100 KW which means they are large capacity power users.Those users of medium-small sized capacity are residents and enterprises,while the users of large capacity are only enterprises.Combined with the actual situation of the collection of power charge,the paper will analyze the amount of payment from customers and put forward the problem about charge collection.Secondly,various problems encountered with the power customers with different electricity capacity are summarized in the paper.Factors such as financial position、charge payment、economic environment are selected to be the different credit evaluation index.In the process of calculation of the indicators which will impact payment of charge,the linear weighted sum method and analytic hierarchy process(AHP)are used to work out the weight of each factor in the credit assessment of medium-small sized capacity power users.In the analysis of the evaluation of index on large capacity users,the multi level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to establish credit evaluation model for large capacity users.Meanwhile the different weights of their corresponding customers are illustrated and credit scores of medium-small sized capacity users and five categories of customer are made.Last but not the least;the paper lists the way to collect power charge based on the credit assessment.The improvements of the credit score and charge collection after the development of the way of credit assessment are explained with examples.The study and application of the way of credit assessment on power users’ charge payment ability will definitely help Electricity Power Company to relieve the default of power charge problems and to reduce the risk faced by them.The protection of Electricity Power Company’s achievement and the sustainable development of them will be realized.
