Vacuum booster is a very important part of automobile braking system.As one of the most important parts for driving safety,its quality control has been highlighted.Due to the limitations of technology,the vacuum booster assembly line which was designed before 90s could only handle simple production operations and working process.With the development of the automotive technology,the upgrade of production and performance push the vacuum booster was improved from productivity and quality.However,the working process and quality control system of the traditional assembly line has failed to meet this demand,not to realize the intelligent manufacturing by Internet,Cloud or Big Data as the "Made in China 2025" planed.According to this requirement,within the full-duplex communication technology between PLC and PC based on Industrial Ethernet,the Automatic Control System had been designed and implemented for this kind of Auto Vacuum Booster Assembly Line.Through the assembly line real-time control,the system realized lots of functions which could improve productivity and product quality,such as production process control,process data management and production quality monitoring.The main parts of paper's work as follow:(1)Based on deployment structure and working process of assembly line,designed the system control functions and business functions by analyzing functional and nonfunctional requirements.(2)According to the different types of PLC on the assembly line,establish the communication between the application server and devices,design the communication protocol and data exchange format for the assembly line data transmission.(3)On the data persistence,a set of business data objects were designed,and they will be deployed as several Schemas in one Instance.(4)According to the design,implement the system control functions and business functions.In addtion,deploy the system use virtualization to provide a high reliability and availability environment.Finally,the test shows that the correctness and value of this paper.At present,the automatic control system has been running steadily on the A38 assembly line of Shanghai Automotive Brake System Co.,Ltd.and the paper draw conclusion that all the work on design and implementation of automatic control system is effective and valuable.
