With the rapid development of packaging machinery for many years,more and more packaging production lines have been automated,even intelligent.Among them,the aerosol packaging production line involves the steps of unpacking,bottling,packing carton partition,sealing and palletizing,etc.The packing carton partitions have higher requirements on the machine for the flexible materials involved,so this operation still needs to be implemented manually with low efficiency.Based on the problem of automatic packing carton partition needed to be solved to ensure the integrity of the aerosol packaging production line,this paper proposes an automatic packing method by analyzing the forming and packing process of carton partitions,and designs a carton partition automatic packing machine;Finally,the simulation analysis and prototype experiment were carried out to verify its feasibility.The main research contents are as follows:Firstly,the structure of the carton partition and its packing process was analyzed.According to the foldable and deployable structural characteristics of the carton partition,an an equivalent multi-parallelogram model and a parametric modeling were established.In addition,according to the manual forming and packing process of carton partitions,a method of forming carton partitions based on traction,a gantry manipulator packing method and an four-sided clamping method are proposed to meet the relevant actions,and then the types of each institutions have been determined initially.Secondly,the carton partition automatic packing machine was designed and analyzed.The design of the machine aimed to implement the continuous feeding,forming,four-sided clamping,handling,press-fitting and etc.This paper innovatively designed the feeding device,forming device,gantry packing manipulator and cross-clamp holder,the corresponding 3D model were built in SolidWorks,and the selection and calculation of the drive components also have been finished.The gantry type manipulator has three degrees of freedom,including X-axis movement,Z-axis movement and Z-axis rotation.The holder has the functions of four-sided clamping,correcting and loading carton partitions.Finally,the overall arrangement of the packing machine was made,and the hardware components of the control system were determined.Thirdly,the finite element analysis of the carton partition automatic packing machine was carried out.The ANSYS Workbench was adopted to perform finite element analysis on carton partitions and key components.The target optimization design of the load beam was carried out,reducing 27% quality based on the response surface optimization method.Then,modal analysis with prestress was carried out on the main shaft lifting part of the gantry type packing manipulator under two states.According to the results,the range of speed the motor avoided have been obtained.In addition,Structural static analysis of the carton partition in the folded state was carried out,the result verified that the carton partition would not been damaged in the feeding device.Structural static analysis of the carton partition in the unfolded state was carried out,the result provided the theoretical basis for controlling the clamping force of the holder.Fourthly,the simulation analysis of carton partition forming process and prototype experiment were carried out.Forming angle and offset angle are two important parameters for the forming of carton partitions.In this paper,the traction distance was taken as the affecting factor of the forming effect.The contact system model of the carton partition was constructed in ADAMS,and then the simulation analysis of forming process was carried out,obtaining the relationship between the traction distance and forming angle or offset angle,the motion parameters of the cardboard,the optimal clamping pitch was determined.Finally,the prototype experiment was used to verify the feasibility of the whole machine and various parts of the device,and analyze the problems of the prototype.
