With the development of technologies such as Internet of Things and cloud computing,“Smart” has gradually become the direction of future planning and development of many cities.As important infrastructures in the city,AC charging piles for electric vehicle will play a more important role in the planning of smart city.The traditional charging piles only have a single energy supply function,which often have disadvantages such as difficult management,waste of resources and low utilization rate.It is difficult to meet the charging needs of electric vehicles.In addition to the basic AC charging function for electric vehicle,the smart charging pile also has functions of smart lighting,environmental detection,remote monitoring,human-computer interaction,solar power supply and so on.In this paper,We delved into a smart charging pile control system based on Internet of Things platform,which includes hardware and software.Firstly,we analyzes the functional requirements of smart charging piles in combination with the research background and development status of electric vehicle charging piles.The overall discussion of the smart charging pile control system was carried out based on the electrical parameters.The components of the control system were expounded,the functions of each part were briefly introduced.According to the components of the intelligent charging pile control system,we designed the hardware circuits of the control system and explained them in detail.The hardware circuits specifically includes power module,minimum system of the single chip microcomputer,charging control pilot circuits,driving circuits,communication circuits,charging voltage and current detecting circuits and lighting control circuits.The hardware circuit of the intelligent charging pile control system is simulated and verified by Multisim.The simulation results show that the control pilot circuits can output and detect the control pilot signal accurately.Combined with the attributes of electronic components,the schematics and PCB template of the smart charging pile control system was drawn by Altium Designer.Then,we developed the software part of the smart charging pile,which mainly includes the charging pilot control strategy,serial communication program and lighting control program.The communication protocols involved in the communication program were introduced in detail.In addition,we developed the human-computer interaction interface by Kissuseditor.Finally,we tested the functions of smart charging pile control system including control pilot,human-computer interaction,emergency stop control,remote monitoring and smart lighting.The experiments results show that the control pilot module can accurately identify the connection state of the smart charging pile,and the peak detection error of the control pilot signal is kept within 0.5% under different duty cycles.The control system can accurately detect the noise,temperature and electric vehicle charging information in the environment and display it on the human-computer interaction interface.The users can set the time and charging parameters through the human-computer interaction interface.During the charging process,if the emergency stop button is pressed,the control system can quickly disconnect the high voltage circuit and display the fault.The communication module can upload the noise,temperature,charging information and the working status of the lighting module to the cloud,and the administrator can adjust the maximum output power of the smart charging pile and remotely control the working state of the lighting module through the Internet of Things platform.The lighting module can automatically switch the working state of the LED light group according to the ambient light intensity.Replacing traditional street lamps and charging piles with smart charging piles based on the Internet of Things platform can effectively reduce the cost of urban infrastructure construction and management while improving the efficiency of charging piles and reducing lighting energy consumption.The research results on smart charging piles has important guiding significance for the development of new energy industry and the construction of new smart cities.
