Research On Gree's Working Capital Management From The Perspective Of Supply Chain

If a company wants to achieve sustainable development,the management of working capital will be very important.At present,the traditional working capital management is no longer in need of adapting to the development of the times,and is gradually withdrawing from the historical stage.The management of working capital in the 21 st century introduced the concept of “supply chain”,effectively combining working capital with the supply chain,and the management of working capital has returned to a new path.Working capital plays a vital role for China's home appliance manufacturers,and most of China's home appliance manufacturers are facing a shortage of working capital,which seriously affects the survival and development of enterprises.On the basis of reviewing domestic and foreign research literature,working capital management theory,supply chain management theory and supply chain management theory based on supply chain,this paper selects Gree Electric Appliances,a leading household appliance company,as a research object for case analysis.First of all,this paper introduces the management background of Gree Electric's working capital,and highlights the current situation of Gree's working capital management based on supply chain,reclassifying working capital and working capital used by Gree in procurement,production and marketing.Management mode.Then,through the three links of procurement,production and marketing of the supply chain,the specific analysis of Gree Electric's working capital performance in 2010-2017 is carried out.It is found that Gree Electric has a long payable account turnover period in the procurement channel,neglecting the upstream supply.The relationship between the business,the production channel exists in the product inventory accounted for the increase in the proportion of total inventory,the production information system needs to be improved,the marketing channel has the increase in accounts receivable turnover days,the marketing model is defective.In response to the above problems,relevant suggestions are put forward: procurement channels make rational use of commercial credit,strengthen supplier management,improve JIT procurement mode;optimize production inventory management model,improve production information system,and promote scientific production methods;Management,expand online marketing channels,and improve the logistics management system.Through the case analysis of Gree Electric,the supply chain management and working capital management are effectively combined to fully play the role of supply chain in enterprise management,providing a new research idea for working capital management.
