Smart substation,as a network node of power grid system,connects all links of energy conversion,transmission and distribution in smart grid,which is very important for the construction of smart grid in China.At present,there are many problems in the secondary system equipment of the smart substation,such as various kinds of equipment,complex wiring,poor information sharing and inconvenience of operation and maintenance.The modular design of smart substation on secondary system can be considered from the integration of the same function,the same equipment,which can also be considered from the integration of the primary system and secondary system,researching on key technologies of integration between the primary and secondary systems.In this way,it can reduce the quantity of secondary devices and the equipment investment,save the area,improve the operating management level of the substation,and get more economic and social benefits.Therefore,the secondary system design of a new generation of smart substation based on modular structure is very important.This paper study the design of the secondary system based on modular substation in a 500 kV substation,firstly introduces the significance and status of the secondary system design of a new generation of smart substation based on modular structure,then specificly introduces detailed situation of the 500 kV substation in this paper.Combined with the engineering situation of a 500 kV substation,this paper proposing the "Pyramid" secondary system modular design plan,which is made up of "prefabricated secondary combined equipment + prefabricated cabin of secondary combined equipment + outdoor prefabricated smart control panel".Power supply of substation,communication system and auxiliary system equipment are modulated according to the function,the inner panels are stitched in a unified base,which is wired in factory and transported to the site as a whole,as the top of Pyramid;Combined with the sampling optimization scheme,500 kV secondary equipment is stitched as s string according to modular,arranged in a prefabricated cabin,two strings of the 500 kV secondary equipment is configured in one I type prefabricated cabin,each piece of the 220 kV secondary equipment is configured in one ? type prefabricated cabin,which use front connection and front display device,wired in factory and transported to the site as a whole,as the second layer in Pyramid;adopting one prefabricated local smart control panel plan,the 500 kV and 220 kV process layer devices are placed in the local smart control panel,which is modulated in the interval,to form the bottom layer of Pyramid.Through the design of the secondary system based on modular substation in a 500 kV substation,this paper is devoted to research and analyze a set of design plan for secondary system,which is suitable for most smart substations,relatively perfect 500 kV smart substation Based on modular structure.
