Three-dimensional virtual reality roaming simulation and virtual instrument experiment process simulation are two main simulation methods at present.The former can simulate the real experimental scene very well,while the latter can better simulate the details of the experiment.Aiming at the requirement and characteristics of virtual simulation experiment of measurement and control,this paper proposes a virtual simulation experiment method of Unity3D+virtual instrument.Unity3 D is used to show the large virtual experiment scene and environment,virtual instrument is used to show the details of measurement and control experiment and to access the information of external sensors,so as to realize virtual simulation experiment of combining virtual with real.The main work of this paper is as follows.Firstly,based on ECS architecture,this paper proposes an extension method of virtual instrument under Unity3 D,which can dynamically assemble components on Unity3 D platform.Then this paper designs the display method,interaction method and communication mechanism of virtual instrument components.In the display part of virtual instrument,we propose a two-dimensional curve drawing method based on multi-layer overlay and a threedimensional model display method based on tree node structure.In the interactive part of virtual instrument,we design an event-monitoring-response model to realize the interaction between users and virtual instrument.In the communication part of virtual instrument,we propose a publish-subscribe mechanism based on event center to realize the linkage between components of virtual instrument.On this basis,we design the virtual instrument components with different functions,such as analysis category,display category,operation category,hardware category and so on.In addition,we have built a virtual reality environment,including the mechanical building of Huazhong University of Science and Technology and the internal environment of the virtual laboratory.We enrich the surface details of virtual reality scene based on multi-fusion texture mapping technology,optimize the traditional lighting model based on delay rendering,and finally build a virtual reality environment with strong sense of reality and immersion.On this basis,we add user interaction to realize the virtual roaming function in the virtual scene.Finally,we assemble the components dynamically in Unity3 D,build a complete virtual simulation experiment,and publish the virtual simulation experiment on the web or Android side according to the actual needs.In order to prove the validity of the proposed method,we have developed a number of different virtual simulation experiments for the two courses of Mechanical Engineering Control Technology and Engineering Testing Technology Basis.At the same time,we have designed a multi-sensor measurement experiment based on Arduino combined with the actual hardware.The final results show that,compared with the traditional virtual simulation experiment,the virtual simulation experiment developed in this paper has good immersion,reality and scalability.
