The virtual driving simulator has been widely used in the field of driver training,ergonomics research and automobile product development.It can simulate all kinds of space attitude,such as the motor sense of bumping,crashing,turning and weight loss,which has the characteristics of good reproducibility and high safety.Unity3 D has a friendly development interface,powerful physical simulation module,realistic real-time rendering and other functions,which provides a convenient condition for the study of virtual driving.The development and application of the driving simulation system based on Unity3 D is put forward In this paper and the subject is studied in depth.Based on the structure design of the driving simulator with four degree of freedom,a visual simulation system was developed by using the Unity3 D engine,which finally realized Integration and device communication in control system,visual simulation system and executive system and the motion simulator was verified experimentally.The driving simulator designed in this paper has the advantages of convenient control,high universality and wide application prospect.In this paper,the solid model of vehicles,roads,mountains,trees,houses and so on was established by using 3DsMax 3D modeling software.Then the virtual scene was built by using Unity3 D to construct the established solid model orderly.The dynamic model was analyzed and simplified,and the theoretical basis for the dynamic simulation of the vehicle model was provided.The collision detection,keyboard response,view switching,weather conversion and other functions were achieved through the script program,which established a strong sense of virtual driving visual simulation program.After that,the driving of the model of the vehicle was controlled by the visual simulation system through the input signal received by control system,and pulsed quantity of motor was collected by calculating the real-time position and attitude information of vehicle,which made the position of the driving simulator of the moving platform consistent with the vehicle model's.Finally,through the experimental simulation of the virtual driving system,the simulation results of the visual system and the real-time performance of the virtual driving system are verified.The research results of this paper have important practical significance and application value for the virtual driving.
