Study On The Skills Of ’Shanjiang’ In Jiaodong Seaweed Cottage

Seaweed Cottage is a typical residential building in Jiaodong area of Shandong Province,which has the regional characteristics of Jiaodong.Seaweed Cottages are built with natural stones and roofs are laid with seagrass.The roof is tall and the appearance is classical.They have high aesthetic value.At the same time,there are many regional genes in Jiaodong area in terms of building space and settlement form.They are listed in the list of intangible cultural heritage in Shandong Province.The construction process of the Seaweed Cottage adopts a special division of labor called "Wudajiang" : the stonemasons responsible for stone carving;the masons responsible for plastering;the carpenters responsible for the wooden work of the roof frames,doors and windows;the blacksmiths responsible for the construction of ironwork;and the ‘Shanjiang’ responsible for the roof razor.Among them,the ‘Shanjiang’ is a unique kind of construction work in Jiaodong area,which has strong cultural and technological aesthetic research value.As a product of Jiaodong’s regional culture,the emergence,dissemination and evolution of ‘Shanjiang’ are influenced by many cultural factors,such as native Laiyi culture,border garrison immigration culture,salt industry culture,Japanese and Korean culture.Under the influence of these historical and cultural factors,Jiaodong area has formed a unique culture of Roof construction,and the Seaweed Cottage is the embodiment of its material level.In this paper,from the perspective of building technology of architecture,the main expression language is graphic illustration.I am intended to explore the construction technology of Seaweed Cottage represented by seaweed construction.At the same time,I try to put forward some feasible strategies for the inheritance of "Shanjiang".The full text is mainly divided into three parts: the first part is mainly to study the spatial distribution characteristics and the basic form of the Seaweed Cottage in Jiaodong;the second part is to study the respective technological characteristics of the "Wudajiang" in the construction process of the Seaweed Cottage in the way of graphic illustration;the third part is to study the inheritance process of the "Shanjiang".The existing problems and solutions are discussed.This paper is devoted to excavating the details of traditional crafts,intending to make all sectors of society pay more attention to seaweed rawhide crafts,so that the precious folk building crafts and the profound cultural heritage behind them can be truly inherited and developed.
