All-state weighted robust H_? control strategy is proposed in this paper, based on the weighted matrix method to design the controller for the Hybrid Active Tuned Mass Damper(HATMD)device. And compared with the traditional design method-dynamic magnification factor(DMF),the following research is carried out in this paper under the Simulink module of MATLAB software:(1)Based on robust H_? control,an optimal weighted matrix robust H_? control strategy is proposed to design the controller in the active control structure. The influence of the weighted matrix W and the performance index?on the earthquake mitigation performance is analyzed and give the advice on how to choose it.The effectiveness and reliability of the proposed method are demonstrated by comparison with references.(2)The power spectrums of seven kinds of seismic waves are plotted, and the sensitivity of the controller designed by the two methods is analyzed from the validity of displacement and acceleration reduction.(3)The time-history response diagrams of the HATMD system under seven kinds of seismic waves were obtained by Simulink module, and the structural performance of the HATMD system under the proposed method and the DMF method was compared from peak response and mean square response(RMS).(4)To further study the sensitivity of the two methods to the perturbation of structural parameters, five different structural perturbations are considered, and the effectiveness reduction rate(ERR)of displacement(acceleration)is defined as an indicator to evaluate the robustness of the controller. The larger the ERR is,the worse robustness of the controller will be.Based on the above studies,it is found that the controller designed by the proposed method has stronger robustness in dealing with an external input signal disturbance and system parameter perturbation than the controller designed by the DMF method, which provides an important reference value for the application of HATMD control device in civil engineering practice.
