Research On Urban Micro-Space Renewal And Utilization

Community is an important part of urban function.Residential community bears the main living environment of urban population and is an important carrier of urban well-being.Due to the special historical background and construction ideas,the old communities in big cities are often incompatible with today's high-density urban centers,which leads to various difficulties faced by the old communities in big cities in China.As the "old community" is a part of urban planning in space,planners often copy and apply the traditional planning theory in dealing with the planning of the old community,which results in that most of the planning is "high-end" and difficult to implement.Traditional urban planning ideas with idealized purposes are often difficult to cope with the intricate renewal of the old community.The renewal method with "micro-renewal" as the main planning idea has become a research topic in many academic circles.Abandoning the idea of "bottom-up" micro-renewal of traditional urban planning theory has become a more successful practice method in the old communities of big cities.This paper combines domestic and foreign theories,‘Shanghai Street Design Guidelines',‘Shanghai 15-minute Community Living Circle Planning Guidelines' and the theory of micro-space renewal of old communities in China.Based on the theory of urban planning specialty,this paper takes the 15-minute community living circle perspective,the relationship between living streets and micro-space perspective,and the influencing factors and rules of micro-space basic shape control.At the same time,six typical living street micro-spaces in three old communities in Shanghai were selected as the object of empirical research.Through on-site investigation of six living streets,the use status and spatial characteristics of the micro-spaces in the old communities were recorded in detail,and the internal relationship between the micro-spaces in the old communities and street residents and other factors around them was summarized by combining the questionnaire of the neighboring residents.At last,through systematic research and analysis,the paper finally summarizes the methods and strategies for the micro-space from early planning to the implementation of the street process,and provides the implementation strategy and control basis for the improvement of guidance and control of micro-space and urban micro-renewal in the next step.
