Research On The Reflection Of Ba.Shu Regional Cultural In Indoor Docoration Design

Globalization is the process of international integration of political,economic and culture value system of all nations in the world.In the process of globalization,there is convergence in politics,economics,and even culture.Globalization also has great influence on the area of architecture.As the invading of western culture and worldwide culture convergence,the regional culture features in Sichuan’s interior environment design going to weakening and fading away.Nowadays,the interior environment design becomes business culture and fads.It is quite pertinent to focus on and protect regional culture,and to apply it in the area of decoration design.According to the author’s long-term practice in the interior design in Sichuan and based on the background of Sichuan culture,this paper studies on the interior design space,analyzes the forms of application and expression of Sichuan culture elements in the interior design,tries to establish decoration design space with rich local Sichuan culture through integrating Sichuan local features into the interior space design.There are 5 parts of this paper.The first part is the introduction of the background,objectives and significance of this paper,identifying the research content and methods,and laying the foundation for this paper;the second part describes the status quo of the expressing of regional cultures in the field of interior design,which providing a basis for the application of ancient Shu culture elements in the interior decoration design,and these quantitative and qualitative researches clarify the theoretical concepts of this study;the third part analyzes the expression of the regional Shu culture in interior decoration,studies the influence of Sichuan culture on modern interior design based on clearing up Sichuan regional cultural elements and cultural symbols;the fourth part studies the expression of Sichuan culture in the decoration design of museums and theme hotels combining with the author’s practice,highlighting the importance of the application of regional culture in the design of decoration;the fifth part sums up the application strategy of regional culture in interior design through the discussion of the above four parts.The innovation of this paper is breaking the framework of current interior design research which limiting only in two aspects,namely space design and function design,applying the critical regionalism to interior design,researching the development of Sichuan interior design from the view of Sichuan culture and combining Sichuan culture with cities’ features,analyzing the techniques and ways of expression of integrating interior design with the regional culture.
