Critical chain method of project management is an important sub-discipline of progress planning and a further development of traditional network planning.Compared to network planning,critical chain method both considers the time and resources of task,and also includes human's influence factors into its theoretical basis.Therefore,critical chain method is a better and more scientific progress management method.However,critical chain method is also not perfect,its calculating is likely to neglect the working time of non-critical chain path,and thus to cause delaying of several process.The idea of robustness can fill the gap of the critical chain method to a certain degree.Robustness,as an index of measuring how substance resists the change from outside,has been brought in the field of critical chain method research.In project scheduling,the robustness index and critical chain can complement each other to optimize the working time and resist risks of project.Based on the research of former scholars,this thesis furtherly explores the method to combine critical chain and robustness.The project planning based on critical chain belongs to NP-Hard and needs to adopt intelligence algorithm to solve,but in real project it is difficult to use that method.Fristly,This thesis uses Project Generator(ProGen)produce a 30 proceses sample,combined with 2 dummy proceses.Based on the sample,by using WBS method eliciting out our Critical Chain model.secondly,This thesis uses Monte Carol and Project Generator to simulate and generate project,and based on that to conduct contrastive analysis on frequently-used schedule planning methods and choose the optimal method.Meanwhile,based on the result of simulation,this thesis combines robustness and critical chain and uses backward induction to locate the critical chain,and also builds the critical chainrobustness choosing model.At last,this thesis takes a former construction project of a railway station as the case and uses the above method to conduct schedule planning.After the comparing with frequently-used methods,this thesis finds out that the critical chain-robustness model can improve project's completion rate and reduce the project's working time to a certain degree.Thus this model has its practical significance.
