With the contiuous growth of urban population in China,in order to solve the problem of the inconvenient trip in city,urban rail transit has been applied in our country,which is turned out to be kind of efficient,environmental protecting,fast,safe and not occupying the urban space.Now,most cities have built subways,trams and light rail.Because the station spacing of urban rail transit is short,the vehicle speed is fast and the traction braking is frequently as well,there is a lot of regenerative braking energy that can be used.For the regenerative braking energy utilization device,the flywheel energy storage device has the characteristics of long lifespan and large energy density and has become a hot research topic at domestic and overseas in recent years.This paper mainly realizes the modeling of flywheel energy storage device in traction power supply system and puts forward the corresponding algorithm and designs the software to realize the simulation of urban rail transit system including energy storage device.This paper introduces the significance of studying the energy utilization of regenerative braking,analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of three kinds of regenerative braking energy utilization devices and the research status of flywheel energy storage device at domestic and overseas.Being a future direction,energy storage regenerative utilization device in urban rail transit software is scarce.By analyzing the rectifier,trainand traction network model and train operation diagram method in urban rail teaction power supply system,the foundation is laid for establishing the model of flywheel energy storage device in DC traction power supply system.The model of flywheel energy storage device in rail transit is studied.According to the external characteristics of traditional flywheel and considering the cooperation between flywheel energy storage device and rectifier unit,a general model of ideal voltage source and constant power source coexisting is proposed.Meanwhile,according to the characteristics of the model,a new state control strategy is proposed as well.Finally,the energy storage module is designed on Visual 2010 platform.The corresponding calculation algorithm of energy storage module and the interface of input and output are designed as well.Using the designed software,the traction power supply system with flywheel energy storage device is simulated to verify the effectiveness of the device model and the software.
