| With the prosperity of night economy and nightlife,the public life carried by commercial leisure space is becoming more and more abundant,and people are pursuing higher and higher quality of night space environment.However,the design of the traditional urban Commercial leisure space is generally based on the use of space during the day.That ignores the feeling and experience of using the space at night.Therefore,this paper focuses on the multi-dimensional sensory experience of commercial leisure space at night,and discusses how to give more consideration to the needs of sensory experience in the design of commercial leisure space at night.Based on the theory of sensory experience,this paper selects three typical commercial leisure Spaces,OCT Bay,houhai business center and 366 street in xili as research cases.And it is carried out from five perceptual dimensions of visual perception,auditory perception,olfactory and gustatory perception,tactile perception and orientation by means of field survey,activity annotation,pedestrian counting,questionnaire survey and cognitive map.And it discusses the perceived characteristics and perceived preferences of the commercial leisure space at night,as well as the spatial characteristics of the place where the night energies gather.The research found that:(1)In terms of visual perception,the night view is composed of three parts: architectural interface,bottom interface and spatial environment elements.It’s diminishing perception in vertical,and spatial sequence perception by lateral;The environmental elements that have the greatest influence on visual perception at night include lighting,building interface near the ground floor,overall space construction by plants,color and form of sketches and facilities,waterscape,ground material,spatial sense of terrain and activities.(2)In terms of auditory perception,there are different background sounds in different spaces at night.And soundscapes have different characteristics in different time.And soundscape perception is adaptive and selective.People prefer the positive sounds of nature and life,and dislike the negative sound of traffic and construction.(3)In terms of olfactory and gustatory perception,it is influenced by spatial functions and environmental factors.The smell of food and perfume is the main perception object at night.People prefer natural smells and positive smells.(4)In terms of tactile perception,the perception of hard elements is dominant,and the perception of soft elements is complementary.At night,people prefer hard elements such as seats,armrests and steps that can support people’s sitting and leaning behaviors.(5)In terms of orientation perception,it depends on people’s experience of space and place.Different experiences make people have some differences in their cognition of spatial orientation.But they tend to be the same overall and have a higher coincidence with the actual spatial structure.(6)The perceptual and spatial features of the gathering place at night.The gathering places at night show different sensory experience characteristics according to different activities and spatial characteristics.Finally,the paper puts forward Suggestions on the construction of commercial leisure space at night from five aspects,including the design of light environment,the shaping of night vision,the reasonable planning of soundscape and olfactory-gustation landscape,the shaping of tactile environment and the shaping of space image. |
