With development of building spiritual civilization and cultural industry in recent years,museums as a part of cultural industry also step in the high speed developing period.Under the background that the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee,Ministry of Finance,Ministry of Culture and State Administration of Cultural Heritage of CPC government together issued Notice on the free ope.ning of national museums and memorials in 2008,number of visitors to museums is increasing year by year,bring prosperity to museum industry.At the same tiem beneath the background of experience economy,people tend to experiences during consumption.To meet with people's demands,design of museum is stepping on a road of reform and development.We find that some museums supported by high technology in our country do not achieve the display effect as expected through investigating and analyzing some representative museums.Visitors are still in status of receiving information passively;the traditional visiting mode does not change.This article aims at studying theories and cases of design of museum space and environment,starting with theory of museum space design concept and perceptual experience,getting to know present situation of museum environment design in our country,analyzing “experience” design in museum space,and illustrating subject-object relationship in the space.This paper elaborates actual cases of modern museum space through field research combined with theory of perceptual experience design,analyzes feasibility,importance,and necessity of perceptual experience design of museum space,and studies rules and methods of space design of experiencing museum,as well as explores more systematic design methods of perceptual experience museum.
