| The fragmentation and high saturation of modern life and network information, while providing convenience for people’s life,is also constantly distracting people’s attention, leading to people in a long-term restless mood.Steven Hall believes that architecture and space can provide a certain sense of continuity in time, alleviating the anxiety caused by the fragmentation of modern life.As a venue for all kinds of exhibition activities, the museum carries people’s expectation of spatial experience, and people hope that the museum can bring poetic experience. However, under the influence of the trend of emphasizing formal expression in contemporary architectural design, the experience function of museum space itself is ignored, and people’s place experience and perception of space atmosphere in architectural space are gradually weakened. How to regain the place experience and perceptual feeling of space has become an urgent problem for museum architecture. In the second chapter, this thesis summarizes the development of phenomenological philosophy to architectural phenomenology. In the aspect of phenomenological philosophy,it briefly describes Husserl’s phenomenology based on "reduction",Heidegger’s existentialism phenomenology and Merleau-Ponty’s phenomenology of perception. In the aspect of architectural phenomenology, the thesisi interprets the place theory of Norberg Schulz et al from the perspective of place and space, and introduces the design practice and theoretical research of Steven Holl et al from the perspective of perception and body.In the third chapter, this thesis focuses on the design cases of Stephen Hall,Peter Zumthor, etc, and analyzes and summarizes the design and research strategies of museum space from four aspects:place construction, space organization, light and shadow guidance, and material details. Finally, combining with the space design practice of Hebi Museum of Modern Art,this paper verifies the applicability of the strategy in the museum architectural design,in order to provide reference for the construction of place spirit and perceptual atmosphere of the museum space. There are 48 pictures and 53 references in this thesis. |
