This paper sorts out the research literature of highway service areas at home and abroad,analyzes the development model of the existing service areas,and sorts out the classification methods of traditional service areas.Based on this,it adds the regional characteristic classification indicators.The classification methods,classification principles and classification criteria of expressway service areas in Shandong Province are summarized and the division of service areas applicable to this paper is obtained.Based on the above classification,this paper deconstructs the service area according to the factors such as people and vehicles,and points out the functional characteristics that different types of elements should have in the development of the service area.According to the classification of the service areas mentioned above and the classification of the internal elements of the service area,the basic principles of the integration of service areas and local industries are proposed,and the development model of tourism,logistics,transportation,consumption,theme.At the same time,this paper selects Rizhao,Linqu,Linyi,Laiwu and Jining service areas as typical cases to transform and design,and promotes the formation of a diversified development model led by industrial development.Finally,based on the literature review results and the conclusions of the paper,this paper proposes the regulation mode and specific measures for the diversified development mode of the service area.
