With the acceleration of urbanization process,“urban-suburban integration” has become a new stage of modernization and urbanization in china.The growing trip demand for suburbia in big cities has triggered a series of suburban travel problems.In the premise of urban unbalanced economic development,an effective way to solve the urban-suburban traffic and alleviate the pressure after urban expansion is to energetically develop the suburban bus and increase the attraction of suburban public transport.However,the suburban bus is in the initial stage of development,there exists low service level,poor passenger satisfaction,and a lack of complete set of theory support system.In order to solve the problem of suburban public transport development and improve service level,a development system from theoretical modeling of suburban public transport is constructed,and relevant research contents are put forward:The origin and development of metropolitan suburban is taken as the background,a qualitative and quantitative analysis method of SWOT-AHP is proposed to launch research on the future development trend of suburban bus,SWOT-AHP model is established by calculating the weight of the S(strengths)?W(weaknesses)?O(opportunity)and T(threat)in the development of suburban bus in the future,based on which some argeted suggestions from the aspects of policy are given.Especially focused on the problem of low service level and poor passenger satisfaction in the future development of suburban bus,a theoretical model is built to optimize dispatching.In order to measure and judge the current service level,the on-bus service level is divided into four grades with a standard of standing-passenger density,to which the SP-RP survey applied based on the theory of computer visual simulation.Furthermore,the existing travel value model is optimized with the introduction of “income variable”.An improved on-bus perceived value model of different income groups under different service is established,and the parameters are calibrated with SPSS software.The change regulation of on-bus perceived value with income is studied.On the basis of analysing individual on-bus perceived value,which is as the transition variable of on-bus perception and perceived cost.A bus departure interval calculation model is established aiming at minimize the sum of variable operating costs of bus companies and passenger'percieved cost is conducted,and genetic algorithm is designed to solve;The improved on-bus perceived value model is adopted to calculate on-bus perceived cost of Tianjin suburban bus 649,the bus route is optimized and optimal departure interval is obtained based on bus departure interval calculation model.The bus departure interval which is calculated with the model results in that passengers' perceived cost are cut down to a great extent with bus company basic interests being guaranteed.It reflects “people-based” service concept and may provide important scientific support with the future development and improvement of suburban public transport.
