Study On Economic Effectiveness Evaluation Of Ports And Cities Along The River In Jiangsu Province

The relationship between the port and the urban economy is close and each other promotes and restricts each other,which is a kind of coordinated development relationship.The port has greatly promoted and promoted the economic development of its city and surrounding areas.Port development is inseparable from the region where it is located and urban economic development will also drive the real development of the port.The port along the Yangtze River in Jiangsu Province has become an important foundation for the economic and social development of the province.It is an important gateway for bulk material transshipment and foreign exchanges in the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River.At the same time,as an important part of the North Wing of the Shanghai International Shipping Center,it has become an integrated transportation system for the Yangtze River Delta region.The Yangtze River City Group in Jiangsu Province has a total production value of 601.151 billion yuan,accounting for 63.1%of the province’s regional GDP.Its economic strength ranks among the top in Jiangsu Province and even the whole country.However,there are still problems in the development of Jiangsu Province along the Yangtze River port and the Yangtze River urban agglomeration,and the coordinated development is not smooth.The development of the port along the Yangtze River in Jiangsu Province is related to the urbanization process of the Yangtze River urban agglomeration.This paper analyzes and proposes the synergy development efficiency of the port and city along the Yangtze River in Jiangsu Province,which has great practical significance.Based on the research of relevant literatures,this paper takes the economic synergy relationship between Jiangsu Yanjiang Port and Yangzijiang urban agglomeration as the research object,analyzes its current development status and establishes two sub-models for horizontal and vertical evaluation.The DEA model is actually applied to the port-city group.Evaluation of the effectiveness of economic development.This paper makes use of the data of the Yanjiang River and Yangzijiang urban agglomerations in the past 10 years to make a practical evaluation of the economic efficiency of the port-city cluster.It is found that the development of the Yangtze River cities is uneven and the development of the ports along the Yangtze River is different.The reasons are mainly reflected in the low scale efficiency and technical level.The two aspects are low,the Yangtze River urban agglomeration and the port show a mutually prosperous development trend,but this effective relationship does not always have certain conclusions.Then,the multivariate linear regression equation is used to further test the influence of the port along the Yangtze River on the economics of the Yangtze River urban agglomeration.It is concluded that the development of the port along the Yangtze River in Jiangsu Province will promote the economic development of the urban agglomeration,so it is necessary to actively increase the conclusion of the port efficiency improvement.Finally,combined with the actual situation of the Yangtze River port and the Yangtze River urban agglomeration in Jiangsu Province,relevant measures and countermeasures are proposed for the exposed problems,which will help to strengthen the coordinated development of the ports along the Yangtze River and the Yangtze River in Jiangsu Province.
