With the introduction of the "Belt and Road Initiative",trade between China and other countries has become increasingly close.Most of the world's international trade relies on maritime transport,so the service capacity of the waterway plays an important role in coastal economic development and port construction.With the increasing number of ships arriving in coastal ports,the ship is still developing to a large scale.The natural water depth of many waterways along the coast of China cannot meet the all-weather navigation of ships at all levels.Large ships can only meet their draught requirements by sailing in the tide during the high tide period to ensure navigation safety.In order to save investment costs and maximize profits,the port side will make full use of the tidal water to meet the navigation requirements of the tidal vessels.Therefore,in this case,it is of great significance to study the tidal navigation saturation of coastal waterways.This paper conducts a special study on the tidal navigation saturation of coastal waterways.Firstly,this paper combines the analysis of the navigation process of coastal vessels to obtain the safe spacing of ships and the tide riding window are the most important factors affecting the saturation of the tide channel.Secondly,by studying the calculation method of ships' safe spacing,based on the Car-Following theory,the aspects affecting the minimum spacing of the ship are analyzed.The determination of the reversing braking distance of the ship in the channel is based on the comparison of the Shipowner 5000 simulator.Thirdly,according to the minimum safe spacing of the ship and the tidal window time,discussing the number of vessels passing the channel and the saturation of the coastal tidal channel when the tidal ships are sailing in saturated state and unsaturated state.Finally,calculating the maximum number of the tidal and non-tidal ships in the saturation state when passing the main channel of the Jinzhou Port,and the saturation of the main channel of Jinzhou Port is obtained.Compared with the actual data,the impact on the channel construction project under different number of ships will be obtained.As one of the important indicators for evaluating the service capacity of the navigation waterways,this paper discusses the influence of the tidal navigation on the saturation,and can provide a theoretical calculation method for the saturation of the coastal waterways.The calculation method and ideas can be applied to the evaluation of the actual coastal port waterways saturation,which has practical significance and operability,and provides reference for the future planning development and construction of the waterways.
