In recent years,the rapid development of China's transportation industry,traffic channelization and the phenomenon of heavy-duty and overloaded vehicles on the road,the road load bearing the increase of traffic load,coupled with the impact of extreme climatic conditions,caused serious damage to the asphalt pavement in the early stage.SBS modified asphalt is widely used in high-grade asphalt pavement construction due to its good high and low temperature performance and low temperature sensitivity.At present,SBS modified asphalt on-site processing has been widely used in physical engineering due to its convenience,speed and controllable processing.Therefore,this paper will analyze and study some key process parameters,processing quality stability control methods and stability of product processing quality in the on-site production process of SBS modified asphalt.In this paper,the effects of different shear temperature,shear time,shear rate and development time on the properties of finished modified asphalt during SBS modified asphalt processing were studied.Comparing the basic properties of the finished asphalt obtained by different methods,combined with the microscopic observation of Environment Scanning Electron Microscop(ESEM)and Fourier Transform Infrared(FTIR),it is recommended that the optimum process parameters for on-site modification are:shear temperature 185?;The cutting rate is 4000r/min;the shearing time is 40min;the development time is 4h?5h.Combined with the actual situation of the construction site,the development time of mass production of modified asphalt can be extended to 6h.Finally,the performance of the finished modified asphalt was tested by three major indicators and SHRP tests.Using the Energy Dispersive Spectrometer(EDS)to detect the elemental composition of the star-shaped SBS modifier,a method for detecting the content of the star-shaped SBS modifier in the modified asphalt was developed,and the modifier content and the finished modified asphalt were obtained.The correlation between the content of silicon and the content of the silicon is obtained as follows:y=0.013+0.1 19x(R2=0.99119).The comparison with the traditional infrared spectroscopy shows that the new method is feasible and can be applied in practical engineering.According to the actual situation of processing SBS modified asphalt on the construction site,the equipment,process flow and precautions used in the processing were introduced,and the quality monitoring of the modified asphalt on-site processing was carried out to collect the performance data of the finished SBS modified asphalt(penetration degree).,softening point,ductility and mass loss after long-term aging,ductility,penetration ratio),for the collected performance data of the six modified asphalts,using histograms and process control charts to analyze the on-site processing production process stability.The results show that the processing and production process of on-site modified asphalt is stable and reliable.The research results can provide data support for the SBS modified asphalt on-site processing technology determination,and also provide a method and theoretical basis for the quality control of SBS modified asphalt on-site processing.
