survival and development.In the new round of scientific and technological revolution with intellectualization and digitalization as the core,the ever-changing science and technology promotes further changes in the industry.The development of China's equipment manufacturing industry faces new challenges,and international competitiveness needs to be improved.From the external environment,the new round of scientific and technological revolution in the world is in the ascendant.Technological innovation promotes the wide application of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence and Internet of Things,which broadens the new field of equipment manufacturing industry and changes the production and lifestyle at the same time.Who can occupy the commanding heights of technological competition and turn challenges into opportunities,who will seize the opportunities of development.On the other hand,the international financial crisis has made the world's industrial powers re-emphasize the development of the real economy.The"Advanced Manufacturing Partnership Program" initiated by the United States,Germany's"Industry 4.0" and Japan's "Super Intelligent Society 5.0" all focus on the equipment manufacturing industry,which is a strong driving force for economic growth.This has a certain impact on the future development of China's equipment manufacturing industry.Furthermore,in order to occupy a favorable position in the new round of industrial competition,these developed industrial powers also try to restrain the development of other equipment manufacturing industries with certain threats by implementing various trade protection measures.The implementation of the "Made in China 2025" strategy has caused fears in the developed countries.In particular,the United States,as a major importer of China's equipment manufacturing products,has set off a trade war despite the trend of economic globalization,making the development of China's equipment manufacturing industry worse.From the internal environment,China is in the deep water zone of deepening reform and the important historical node of industrial transformation and upgrading.The pressure of economic downturn is increasing,and there are still great difficulties in the development of real economy.The original competitive advantage of equipment manufacturing based on price is gradually disappearing,and the new competitive advantage has not been fully formed,China's equipment manufacturing industry is facing the double squeeze of developed countries and developing countries.In such a grim background,it is of great significance to study the impact of technological innovation on the intermational competitiveness of China,s equipment manufacturing industry,respond to the current pressures and challenges,make up for the shortcomings of China,s equipment manufacturing industry,create new competitive advantage,enhance the international competitiveness of the entire industry,and realize the transformation of China's manufacturing from large to strong,and then drive the development of the entire national economy.Therefore,this thesis mainly uses normative analysis and empirical analysis to study the impact of technological innovation on the international competitiveness of China's equipment manufacturing industry.This content is mainly divided into four parts.The first part is the first two chapters,mainly including the background,significance and the related theory introduced in this thesis,which plays an outline role in the later writing.The second part is the third chapter of this thesis.It mainly introduces the current situation and problems of the international competitiveness of China's equipment manufacturing industry from three perspectives of export trade?technological innovation and foreign investment,and provides direction for the analysis of the factors affecting international competitiveness.The third part is the fourth chapter and the fifth chapter of this thesis.Supported by the related theories in the second chapter,the fourth chapter explores the transmission mechanism of technological innovation to the international competitiveness of China's equipment manufacturing industry,combining with the application of current intelligent digital technology.In addition,the influence of control variables such as capital intensity,labor input intensity,industry scale,foreign direct investment input intensity and government support intensity on the international competitiveness of equipment manufacturing industry is also analyzed.The fifth chapter verifies the inference based on the mechanism analysis of the fourth chapter.The empirical results show that the strength of government support hinders the improvement of the international competitiveness of China's equipment manufacturing industry.Technological innovation,foreign direct investment,capital intensity,labor input intensity and industrial scale will promote the international competitiveness of China's equipment manufacturing industry.The fourth part is the sixth chapter.It summarizes the main conclusions of this thesis.On this basis,combined with the theoretical inference in Chapter 4 and the empirical results in Chapter 5,the sixth chapter proposes policy recommendations for the problems in Chapter 3.It is hoped that it will effectively achieve the goal of enhancing international competitiveness and sustainable development capabilities by exploring the impact of technological innovation on the international competitiveness of China's equipment manufacturing industry.Considering the importance of technological innovation to the international competitiveness of equipment manufacturing industry in the current new technological revolution,the possible innovation of this thesis is from the perspective of production function to analyze the influence of technological innovation on the international competitiveness of China's equipment manufacturing industry through four paths.These four paths are the acquisition of differentiated competitive advantage and cost competitive advantage,the upgrading of industrial structure and the avoidance of technical barriers.In the analysis and selection of variables,the domestic value-added of export products can more accurately measure the international competitiveness including intermediate trade.However,in view of the limitations of the domestic value-added data based on the World Input-Output Table and the industry matching standards,this measurement index cannot be adopted.This thesis takes export technical complexity as a quantitative index of international competitiveness to provide a direction for the development of equipment manufacturing industry.
