Identification And Assessment Of Critical Failure Factors In Yemen Construction Projects

There are many construction projects that are in process in Yemen,but some of these projects are not completed and are failed badly.There are various factors that are associated with this failure.This study has been conducted in order to find out and investigate the different factors that are linked to construction projects and may cause their failure.Furthermore,the author is also supposed to find out the correlation between these factors.For this purpose,data has been collected from 320 respondents that are the people linked with construction projects such as consultants,contractors,and owners of these construction projects.The questionnaire method has been used by the author in order to get a good rate of response.Different methods and techniques were applied in order to get the results.These methods include descriptive statistics,correlation matrix,rotated component matrix,T matrix,etc.According to the results analyzed by the author,it was found out that all the factors recognized by the author have some influence on the construction projects' failure in one way or the other.In addition to that,the author has also found out that all the variables of the factors of construction project failure have some correlation with each other with some significance value.In the last section,the author has discussed the different implications or benefits of this study in theoretical,practical,and policymaking contexts.The construction project owners and contractors may get guidance from this study in various aspects of the project.In a similar way,different authors and researchers might get information and literature from this study.In the last,different gaps have been identified by the author related to this study,along with the suggestions and recommendations for the other researchers to fulfill these gaps.
