Research On Protection And Reuse Of Traditional Villages In Shan Shan Village Of Liaocheng

Traditional villages are important bearers of China’s farming culture and social formation,and are also important carriers of people’s production and life.Nowadays,as the advance of urbanization,a large number of traditional villages are on the verge of extinction for various reasons.Therefore,we should not confine the protection and reuse of traditional villages to theory,but to put it into practice.For this reason,researches on this topic are with realistic significance.Liaocheng is a city with a long history.At present,14 villages in Liaocheng have been listed as traditional villages in Shandong Province.Located on the border of Luxi plain and Mount Tai,Shanshan village has a long history and is rich in cultural,historical and ecological resources,for which it was listed as the third batch of traditional villages in Shandong province in April,2016.This paper mainly focuses on the protection and reuse of the traditional villages in Shanshan Village of Liaocheng,which was done by adopting the methods of field investigation,literature collection and study,analogy induction and case analysis for the purpose of analyzing and summarizing the relevant literature review at home and abroad.This paper analyzes the village profile of the traditional village of Shanshan Village from the perspectives of historical evolution,natural environment factors,cultural characteristics,village site selection and overall layout features,exploring the architectural features,local materials and construction techniques of the traditional folk houses in Shanshan Village.Based on the analysis of the current problems and contradictions faced by Shanshan Village,combined with the successful cases of protection and reuse of traditional villages at home and abroad,and following the principles of integrity,authenticity and public participation,the protection strategies suitable for Shanshan traditional villages are summarized.This paper puts forward practical and feasible reuse methods and suggestions for the overall village space,natural ecological resources,traditional street space and traditional buildings of Shan Village.Taking the reuse of residential houses into traditional villages as the design practice of this subject,the paper further demonstrates the strategies and methods for the reuse of Traditional architecture.Based on the analysis of villagers’ living satisfaction and the actual situation of traditional houses,the transformation of traditional dwellings into guest houses can not only meet the needs of villagers for modern life,but also bring certain economic income to villagers.The transformation of traditional dwellings into guest houses is also based on the potential advantages of tourism development in Shanshan Village and puts forward a more suitable residential regeneration mode.
