Maritime transportation is a way of using ships to transport goods' between ports in different countries and regions through sea channels.Because of its low cost,large transportation volume and no restrictions by roads and tracks,it has become the most important mode of transportation in international trade.With the development of maritime transportation,modern shipbuilding technology is becoming more and more sophisticated,and information technology is becoming more and more powerful.Ships tend to be large-scale,informatized,and automated.Towing is one of the main ways for ships and marine construction to navigating.Ships that have an suddenly accident or lose power need to be towed by the tugboat to a safe sea area;platforms or submersible vehicles need to be towed by the port or shore-based wharf to the designated operating sea area.Towing operations of ships are often carried out under severe weather and sea conditions.More factors need to be considered,which makes the towing more difficult,and it is easy to cause cable breakage accidents.It is easy to cause secondary accidents again after the cable breakage.This article aims to realize the real-time monitoring of towing line parameters during towing through the integrated processing of towing apparatus feedback information,tugboat infornation and towed information,to achieve auxiliary decision prompts under different towing conditions,improve towing automation,and reduce towing risks.Aiming at the limitation of the towline tension,length,overhang and ship speed of the automatic towing winch,this article establishes the towline tension monitoring and auxiliary decision system during towing.The entire system is based on the Visual Studio.NET 2017 platform,using C#as the programming language,and the real-time monitoring system uses the tachometer,automatic towing winch and sounding machine and the information of the tugboat and the towed object on the ship to achieve the towing real-time display of relevant streamer data such as the towing speed,the towline tension,towline length,towline drape and towline limit parameters(maximum drape,minimum drape,minimum breaking tension,minimum safety length),Analysis of the towline tension overload,excessive tension fluctuation,excessive drape amount,insufficient drape amount,continuous loose cable,etc.Auxiliary decision-making prompts will be given to early warnings or alarms of towline related parameter data during towing.Using the drape formula and relevant standards and literature,the recommended towline length is reversed based on the towline real-time tension and the prescribed drape amount.The use of SQL Server database technology to save and export the real-time data related to the towline,which is convenient for the follow-up inspection and analysis of the occurrence of alarms or accidents.This article is realized by towing cable tension monitoring and auxiliary decision-making system to realize more comprehensive monitoring of towing cable parameter information during towing,effectively improving towing efficiency and automation during towing,reducing the crew's human error rate caused by harsh environment or fatigue,and ensuring towing safety.
