Research On The Spatial-temporal Evolution And Promotion Path Of Chinese City Resilience

As the main force of the 21 st century,city continuously suffers from numerous uncertain disturbances and impacts from itself and the outside world during city's development.Urbanization aroused a large number of urban problems such as overpopulation,heavy use of natural resources,ecological environment destruction and infrastructure lagging.With the increasing of crisis awareness,urban persistence has become one of the current research hot spots.As the largest developing country in the world,Chinese urbanization is in an important accelerating stage.However,huge economic loss of city resulted from various natural disasters every year,exposes side-on the problem that some cities in China are vulnerable.Therefore,whether the Chinese urban persistence have the ability to adapt to and avoid external risks? Considering that,based on reviewing the theory of urban persistence and quantitative analysis and evaluation index system,this paper firstly combined with concept and research framework of urban persistence,established a set of evaluation index system of urban persistence on the basis of the four dimensions of urban economy,society,ecology and infrastructure.Taking Chinese 285 prefecture-level cities as research object,this paper analyzed the evolution of urban persistence spatial-temporal pattern of China's prefecture-level cities and four major economic regions from 2006 to 2016.Based on this,deep exploration of impact factors was performed by means of the geographical detectors,path selection was proposed combining them.This paper consists of four parts.Part one: Introduction and related theories.Including research background and significance,research contents and methods,innovation and inadequate(Chapter 1).Related theories include the origin and evolution of the persistence concept,urban persistence concept and basic framework,and research trends of quantitative analysis of urban persistence(Chapter 2).Part two: Establishment of evaluation index system of urban persistence.On the basis of combining the study on related theories in the first part and research trends of evaluation index system of urban persistence,evaluation index system of urban persistence was set up,to provide technical support to spatio-temporal evolution of urban persistence in prefecture-level cities and four economic subregions in China and impact factors' analysis.Part three: Empirical analysis.Including the spatio-temporal evolution of urban persistence index in prefecture-level cities and four economic subregions in China(Chapter 4),discussion about impact factors of urban persistence index in prefecture-level cities and four economic subregions in China(Chapter 5),path selection of urban persistence(Chapter 6).These are the empirical analyses of spatio-temporal evolution and path selection of urban persistence in China's prefecture-level cities and four economic subregions.Part four: Conclusion and prospect.this paper summarized the major conclusions,and combined this research's inadequacy to prospect the research on urban persistence in future.
