In order to improve the efficiency of terminal operations and reduce the operation cost,the joint configuration and scheduling of dual trolley quay crane and AGV during the process of automation in container terminal is addressed.The factors affecting the quay crane dispatching plan,including the uncross and safe distance between the quay cranes,the longitudinal stability of the ships in the discharging process,and the available laytime,were considered.The factors affecting AGVs dispatching plan,including the dispatching mode and endurance time of AGVs and the capacity of dual trolley quay crane transit platform and buffer bracket in blocks.A two-stage scheduling optimization model was built,with the minimum the cost of quay crane as the optimization objective of the first-stage model,and the minimum the cost of AGV transportation as the objective of the second-stage.In the first stage,the quay crane operation time of each container was converted into the time window constraint in the second-stage.The enumeration strategy is designed to solve the first-stage model,and the genetic simulated annealing algorithm is improved to solve the second-stage optimization model.Taking the layout of Yangshan Phase ? automated container terminal as an example,the design experiment compares the objective value obtained by the algorithm designed by this paper and the traditional genetic algorithm with the theoretical lower bound value calculated based on the hybrid flow-shop scheduling problem to verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.According to different requirements of loading and discharging time,dispatching mode and random environment,sensitivity analysis is carried out to verify the rationality of the model and algorithm.The results show that the joint scheduling of dual-trolley quay crane and AGV with the goal of minimizing the cost and reducing the quantity of AGV and quayside configuration without the delay of the main quayside trolley,which provides a basis for the configuration of equipment and the optimization of the operation process.
