With the rapid development of urbanization,the need of elevators becomes increasingly pronounced.The incidence of elevator accidents continues to climb with the increase in the number and use of elevators.In order to ensure the safe operation of the elevator and the safety of the passengers,regular maintenance is required.As a large special equipment,the traditional maintenance method has limited effect on assisting maintenance personnel,which makes the maintenance work inefficient and dangerous when obtaining support information.To provide solutions to the problems in the elevator maintenance process,this paper aimed to develop the elevator AR maintenance system based on augmented reality(AR)technology,which provides accurate assistant guidance for elevator maintenance work and improves efficiency and safety by integrating virtual support information with the real maintenance environment.Starts from the reality,this paper conducted a system requirements analysis,system frame design,functional division,including human-machine interface,tracking registration,data management,and hardware support according to the feature of the elevator maintenance and augmented reality.Through the analysis and comparison of different augmented reality development technologies,the system's development plan is determined,and the domestic EasyAR and Unity3 D engines are selected as system development tools.Then the three-dimensional registration technology,display interaction technology,modeling and optimization technology used in the system development process were studied.Completed the 3D modeling and optimization of the elevator structure through SolidWorks and 3Ds MAX software.Considering the portability and computing capacity of the device,this paper selects Android mobile devices to implement the system and uses the registration technology based on artificial markers with fast running speed,low computational complexity and high efficiency to realize the tracking registration of the system.In addition,the mobile terminal application of the elevator AR maintenance system was developed.The configuration of the development environment is described in detail.The tracking and registration of the system by EasyAR can realize off-card recognition through the C # programming language to reduce the difficulty of the system.The registration of the system and human-machine interaction have been completed.It is designed to provide assistance for maintenance personnel through mobile devices,including the viewing and operation of elevator models,and watching maintenance videos.After the system development was completed,the tracking registration function and compatibility test were conducted.The results show that the system has stable identification tracking and good compatibility.Finally,the content and work of this paper are summarized,and the follow-up research is prospected for the shortcomings of the system.
