Research On The Inheritance And Expression Of Historical Context In The Reconstruction Of Old Industrial Buildings

As the urban construction technology changes with each passing day,a mass of old industrial architectures are gradually abandoned and not put into use due to the change of city function and adjustment of urban industrial structure,at the same time,along with the development of the times and the expansion of the city,cities are increasingly becoming more and more similar,resulted from the frequent interaction between countries and the cultural integration.In the process of reconstruction of old industrial buildings,the focus for us is to maintain its original characteristics and preserve the old industrial architecture and even the historical context contained in it.This paper analyzes and summarizes the ways and methods of how to inherit the historical context used in some part of the cases of old industrial building renovation so as to work out a common practice,which will have some reference value for the reconstruction design of old industrial building in the future.After introducing the background of the topic and the content of the research-the difficulties for the old city renewal and the lack of historical context,the paper summarizes the research on the three aspects: old city renewal,old industrial building renovation and context,and sorts out the research methods and framework.After the introduction of the case,the author analyzes the relevant contents of historical context inheritance,and expounds the characteristics,specific embodments and significance of historical context inheritance.Combined with the case,summarize the reconstruction methods of the old industrial building space(including internal space,spatial transformation and spatial connection),structure and interface(including interface form,interface material and interface handover),and classify the cases.Finally,the design methods summarized above are applied in specific cases by means of conceptual scheme design to realize the purpose of emphasizing and responding to the local historical context.
