With the development of the new generation defense high-performance defense missile system,the thermal battery is required to have the characteristics of short-term high-power output,small size and light weight.However,a large part of the domestic thermal battery assembly still stays in the traditional manufacturing methods,which has the disadvantages of low production efficiency,poor product stability,high scrap rate,poor product consistency and so on.Therefore,the automatic assembly of thermal cells has become a hot topic in the industry.Based on the analysis of the structure and traditional manufacturing process of a kind of thermal cell,this paper focuses on the automatic assembly technology of thermal cell.The main research contents are as follows:Firstly,the traditional manufacturing process of a thermal battery and its assembly tooling are analyzed.According to the requirements of the fabrication process and the influence of the fabrication process on the performance of the stack,the corresponding overall automatic assembly scheme is proposed,including the application of key technologies such as mechanical structure design,pneumatic circuit design and control system design.Secondly,the winding of stack,winding of insulation material,butt joint between shell and stack and mechanical structure of welding module are studied and designed.The mechanical analysis of the main stress part of the key module winder is carried out,and the key structure is improved and optimized.On the premise of meeting the function of the mechanism,the motion control parameters are optimized reasonably.Thirdly,according to the demand of production automation,the thermal battery automatic assembly control system is developed,and Siemens PLC S7-200 is used as the main control CPU.The influence of the assembly pressure on the performance of the thermal battery in the winding of the stack is analyzed.Then in the automatic winding part of the stack,the PID function of PLC is used to control the axial assembly pressure of the stack in real time,so as to meet the requirements of the axial pressure in the assembly of the thermal battery.Finally,the whole assembly mechanical system and control system are debugged.The experimental results show that the axial pressure control method of the stack can basically meet the pressure demand in the actual production.In addition,the mechanical parameters and control parameters are analyzed and optimized to ensure the feasibility of formal production.At the same time,the deficiencies in the design are improved and summarized to provide basis for the subsequent product update.
