Motorcycles and tricycles havealways played an important role in the means of transportation in rural areas of our country.With people's increasing demand for motorcycle engine power,traditional air-cooling systems have been unable to meet the cooling requirements of the engine.Due to the large specific heat capacity of water,compared with the air-cooling system,the heat dissipation efficiency of the water-cooling systems is significantly improved,so thewater-cooled enginehasdeveloped rapidly.However,the water-cooling systemhasthe characteristics ofcomplex structureand variable system,so it is difficult to design successfully at one time.It needs the research and development(R & D)personnel to carry out iterative optimization continuously to improve its performance.In this paper,the water cooling system of a brand CG200 engine is taken as the research object.Through the disassembly analysis of the original model,summarize the two major factors that affect the occurrence of punch failure,namely the structure and position of the cylinder head,cylinder body water cavity,and the cooling capacity of the cooling system.The two parameters are improved respectively,and the numerical simulation model is established and the working simulation is carried out.Finally,the improvement design effect is verified by the test data.The detailed research contents are as follows:1)The disassembly analysis of CG200 engine is carried out,the mechanical structure and operation principle of each component of cooling system are defined,and the schemes of cooling system improvement is put forward;2)The geometric models of pump and cylinder before and after engine improvement are established by SolidWorks,and the geometric models of pump channel and water jacket are extracted by Boolean operation,and their characteristics are simplified;3)The geometric model before and after the improvement by ICEM and Fluent domesh and establish a numerical simulation model.Through simulation calculation,the simulation data of cooling water pump flow and cooling water jacket cylinder head temperature before and after improvement are obtained.By comparing pressure field,velocity field,temperature field and heat transfer coefficient,the flow state and heat transfer performance of pump and water jacket before and after improvement are analyzed;4)The flow parameters of of the pump and the temperature parameters of the cylinder head of the water jacket before and after the improvement were measured and compared.The experimental data before and after improvement were used to verify the effectiveness of the the improvement scheme.The research process and conclusion have important theoretical and practical significance for the improvement design of CG200 engine water cooling system.
