With the development of social economy and the government’s proposal for public transportation travelling.The bus industry in China has developed rapidly.In recent years.The number of coach in China has increased year by year.Related to people’s traveling,coach’s safety have received more and more attentions.As a direct link between passengers and coach,passive safety of coach seat plays a very important role in reducing passenger injuries in collisions of traffic accidents.Nowadays,most coach seat manufacturers use computer-aided design to analyze and develop seats when they are working,using the results of computer simulation development as the theoretical basis for the designing of seats’ structural safety performance.However,the low-precision seat finite element model cannot guide the design of the test plan properly,instead,it increases the times of try out and costs.Through the analysis of factors affecting the simulation accuracy of coach seats,this article builds a refined model of coach seat based on a certain brand of coach seat,and they establishes a finite element simulation model of coach seat modal,static strength,and dynamic strength to conduct safety research on the structural strength of the seats and forms the method flow of the coach seat simulation technology at last.The main work is as follows:First of all,the researcher summarized the relevant methods and parameters of refined modeling of coach seat through the analysis of factors that affect the accuracy of seat simulation,such as: geometric accuracy and mesh size,setting of material properties,simulation of connection methods,setting of key parameters such as friction coefficient,and evaluation through CORA evaluation indicators.Secondly,the researcher used the the relevant parameter method of refined modeling of coach seat obtained above to set up a refined simulation model of coach seat,then the researched used Hypermesh and Primer as the preprocessor,LS-Dyna as the solver,and Hyperview as the postprocessor.Setted the relevant parameters according to the test conditions stipulated in the 2017 China Safety Coach Assessment Programme(C-SCAP)to define the corresponding boundary conditions,and establish a seat C-SCAP 30 km / h occupant damage test limited Meta-model,and verify the analysis of attitude and occupant damage index parameter benchmarking with the real test.It verifies the rationality and accuracy of the refined model of coach seat,and provides an effective and accurate finite element model for subsequent simulation analysis of seat modal,static strength,and dynamic strength.Finally,the researcher used the refined finite element model of the standard coach seat to establish coach seat model,static strength-related coach seat static strength simulation analysis model,coach seat back static strength simulation analysis model,and dynamic strength-related bus seat 50 km / h seat strength test simulation analysis model,coach seat inertia resistance simulation analysis model,according to the domestic regulations GB15083-2019 "Automotive seats,seat fixing devices and headrest strength requirements and test methods" and the 2017 version of "China Coach Safety Evaluation Regulations(China Safety Coach Assessment Programme(C-SCAP for short)".The researcher reads the simulation results of each model,putting forward a reasonable structure-optimizing plan for those seat structures with risk of failure,verifying the optimizing plan and forming a set of method flow on coach seat finite element simulation technology at last.
