With the acceleration of urban development,a large number of people begin to gather in cities.According to relevant statistics,the growth rate of most Chinese cities is nearly 17 million every year.The growth of population makes the urban population living area more nervous,in order to meet the basic needs of urban population,a variety of large construction projects,however,large construction projects at the same time,provide convenience for city on a city's public transportation system will have a big impact,resulting in urban traffic system needs to be optimized and adjusted.Therefore,it is necessary to study the traffic impact assessment for the development and layout of large-scale construction projects.Starting from the basic theory of traffic impact assessment,this paper studied the application of TransCAD traffic planning software in traffic impact assessment,taking large-scale urban construction projects as the research object and combining with a practical project of a city district.In this paper,the application of TransCAD traffic planning software in traffic impact evaluation is studied deeply through studying the method of traffic impact evaluation at home and abroad,taking large-scale urban construction projects as the research object and combining with the actual construction projects of a city.Based on this,the following work is done in this paper.Firstly,the concept of traffic impact assessment is proposed,the content of traffic impact assessment,the principles to be followed and the flow of traffic impact assessment are described.On this basis,at the same time of summarizing the definition principles of large-scale construction projects,it also puts forward a variety of methods to determine the evaluation scope and time period of traffic influence degree by means of the same kind of facilities method,travel time method and empirical method,and expounds how to use TransCAD software to solve the problem of traffic demand prediction.Secondly,by combining with relevant evaluation criteria,the location and construction scale of the research project are introduced.The specific methods of threshold,scope,duration and time of traffic impact assessment for large-scale construction projects are defined.Then how traffic planning software in the evaluation of the effects of traffic demand forecast has carried on the detailed analysis and study of the use of the right,through the summary of the existing methods,puts forward how to background traffic as the base amount,using OD backstepping technique to realize the prediction result,established the technical route of OD estimation process flow chart and indicate the main technical method of traffic demand and large construction projects are analyzed and studied in the TransCAD software related to the content of the traffic distribution and traffic distribution.Finally,combined with the actual situation of large construction projects and the results of traffic demand prediction,this paper analyzes the degree of traffic impact on the evaluation content of this paper,and further clarifies the methods and Suggestions on how to improve intersections,project entrances and exits,public transportation and static facilities.
