Research On Empty Container Holding And Empty Container Dispatching Of Shipping Alliance

As an advanced mode of transportation,container transport is easy to transport and disassemble with less damage,thus achieving high efficiency of transportation and gradually becoming the main means of transportation in international trade.However,due to the imbalance of trade and the mainstream of container transportation,the imbalance of empty container supply and demand in space and time is increasingly prominent.This will not only make some ports idle a large number of empty containers,while other ports can not meet the demand of the existing empty containers,resulting in the inefficient use of resources,but also because of the high cost of container transfer and leasing,and even because of the failure to timely meet customer demand caused a loss of credibility.Therefore,how to design the empty container transportation system,optimize the transportation plan,and then reduce the cost,improve customer satisfaction,etc.,is the current academic and shipping companies need to solve the problem urgently.From the perspective of shipping companies,this paper studies this problem by combining qualitative and quantitative analysis.First of all,hrough the qualitative analysis of the container circulation process and the reasons for transportation,the paper reveals the characteristics of empty container transportation and the core problems to be solved,and puts forward the optimization measures by analyzing the optimization objectives of the system.As a quantitative research,on the basis of the existing research,the empty container transport problem is studied.As a quantitative study,based on the existing research results,this paper further studies the optimization of empty container transportation.There are two main parts:in the first part,the supply and demand of empty container are fully considered,a stochastic optimization model is established by applying the(s,s)inventory strategy,the optimal amount of empty containers in the port is obtained by means of Monte Carlo simulation and genetic algorithm;the second part is to obtain the optimal quantity of empty container in port,from the perspective of shipping alliance.The objective of the decision is to minimize the total cost of shipping alliance transportation during the decision period,and fully consider the short-term rental box shortage and return box and other factors,an optimization model of empty container transportation in shipping alliance is established and a numerical example is given.In the process of modeling,this paper fully considers the randomness,dynamics and other characteristics,and considers the influence of short-term rental,shortage and return of containers and other factors,which makes the model more comprehensive and complete,and provides a more practical transportation scheme.
