Research On Modern Urban Landscape Of Kaifeng

Kaifeng is the ancient capital of seven dynasties.Since the Spring and Autumn Period,there have been cities.After the construction of various periods,Kaifeng has grown from a small town to a prosperous city full of palaces.However,Kaifeng suffered from natural disasters such as flood and locust plague in the late Qing Dynasty,and its early urban construction was damaged in modern times.The whole city was filled with yellow sand,which was once called "Shacheng".As the capital city of Henan in modern times,Kaifeng was the political,economic and cultural center of the central Plains in modern times,so the government attached great importance to its urban construction.In the early 20 th century,the expansion of western churches and the opening of the Longhai Railway promoted the penetration of Western ideas and culture in inland cities,and to a certain extent promoted the development of urban planning and gardens in Kaifeng.At the same time,China strongly advocates the construction of parks in cities to provide recreation places for citizens and improve the living environment of cities.In such a social background,the modern Kaifeng government of Kaifeng city and the construction of the garden has adopted a series of planning,such as the construction of various types of parks,to build a nursery,planting trees,planning and urban green space,etc.,makes the Kaifeng modern landscape showing a new face in due course,this also for the development of modern Kaifeng city garden and laid a solid foundation and some enlightenment.Taking the modern urban gardens of Kaifeng as the research object,this paper USES literature review,field investigation,comparative analysis and other research methods to systematically study the modern urban gardens of Kaifeng.Collected by Kaifeng through literature review on the development of traditional garden and modern urban landscape construction of the relevant data,carries on the analysis on the development of traditional garden in Kaifeng,and combined with the background of modern Kaifeng city development,thus the development of modern urban landscape in Kaifeng is divided into four stages:slowly changing period,bud,rapid growth and decline period.According to the different main functions of gardens,modern urban gardens in Kaifeng were divided into six types: private gardens,memorial gardens,urban parks,campus gardens,public attached gardens and afforestation and nurseries,from which the main characteristics of modern urban gardens in Kaifeng were summarized.This paper focuses on thedevelopment of modern urban gardens in Kaifeng and summarizes the development of modern urban gardens in Kaifeng in detail.This part mainly from the early,middle and late three main stages of research.In the early period,Kaifeng’s urban gardens mainly continued the Traditional Chinese gardens and were hardly influenced by the western garden culture.Influenced by the western culture brought by the church and railway,western garden elements gradually appeared in the middle period,and the construction of the garden presented a state of collision between Chinese and Western cultures.In the later period,Chinese and Western landscape culture gradually integrated and permeated,and Kaifeng city garden presented a situation of Chinese and Western combination.The garden layout adopted a large area of open space,and Chinese and Western elements mixed in the architecture.The research in this paper can enrich the research on the history of modern urban gardens in Kaifeng to a certain extent,improve the development and evolution of modern urban gardens in Kaifeng,thus it can also sort out the context of modern urban construction in Kaifeng from the side,and provide theoretical reference for the development of modern urban and garden construction in Kaifeng.
