Research On The Development Strategy Of Highway Passenger Transport Under The Influence Of China-Laos Railwa

Road passenger transportation in Laos has always occupied an important position in the national comprehensive transportation system.The government has always attached importance to the construction of road infrastructure.In the transportation market with relatively backward management mechanism,it is still the main mode of transportation for the vast number of passengers.The construction of Mohan-Wanxiang Railway is both a threat and an opportunity to the development of highway transportation.The opening of the railway will make long-distance passengers prefer railway transportation and share part of the passenger flow from the long-distance passenger transportation market.At the same time,the increase of transfer passenger flow also opens up a new transportation market for highway passenger transportation.Under this background,highway enterprises must adjust their development strategies,find out the internal problems and make improvements so as to develop in harmony with the railway for mutual benefit and win-win.According to the feasibility study report of Mohan-Wanxiang railway construction and on-the-spot investigation,this paper conducts on-the-spot investigation and analysis on the influencing factors of passenger travel mode selection,and then predicts and solves the sharing rate of passenger travel mode.In view of the problems existing in the current highway passenger transportation in Laos and the development trend of transportation,on this basis,using SWOT strategic analysis,this paper probes into the implementation scheme for the coordinated development of the two modes of transportation.The main contents of the paper include the following three aspects:(1)This paper analyzes the main problems existing in the domestic road transportation in Laos,and expounds the development trend of road passenger transportation under the public-railway game,which provides the theory and basis for the prediction and solution of passenger travel mode sharing rate below.(2)This paper analyzes the service attributes of road passenger transport and railway transport and the main influencing factors of passenger travel.Due to the differences in the characteristics of different modes of transport,travelers mainly consider the convenience of travel,travel cost and time characteristics,and select Logit model to predict the passenger flow sharing rate.The utility function is improved by introducing variables of safety and environmental impact degree,and the prediction model of passenger travel mode sharing rate is determined.According to the influencing factors of passenger travel mode selection,the service attribute is determined,then the service attribute value is quantified,the quantified values of the characteristic variables of the two modes of transportation are obtained and subjected to dimensionless normalization processing,and finally the analytic hierarchy process is introduced to solve the sharing rate model.(3)This paper analyzes the current situation of the development of the road passenger transport market in Laos,and makes a detailed analysis of the internal development of road passenger transport enterprises using SWOT strategic analysis tools.Then,the development characteristics and prospects of the two modes of transportation are summarized from the aspects of competition and cooperation.Based on the SWOT analysis of highway enterprise development mentioned above,the strategic layout of highway transportation development is constructed and the development strategy of highway enterprise is given by using the cooperative optimization theory.
