An Empirical Analysis On The Influence Of High Speed Railway Passenger Transport On The Road Route Passenger Transport

The road route passenger transport has always been the backbone of passenger market in our country.The rapid development of the highway construction is strengthening this trend.All of the road route passenger transport enterprises have got a very long period of prosperity and achieved enormously economic benefits.But since 2010,China's high-speed railway construction has accelerated.High-speed railway passenger transport has been bringing more and more competitive pressure to the road route passenger transport.The market share of the road route passenger transport decreased significantly.In the context of the rapid developing of high-speed railway passenger transport,how to develop the road route passenger transport has become a hot and difficult issue.Based on the theory of multiple disciplines such as transportation engineering,management,transportation economy and so on,using a variety of measurement tools such as statistics and so on,combined qualitative description and quantitative analysis,according to the results of the empirical analysis of the impact of the high-speed railway passenger transportation to the road route passenger transportation,this paper discusses road route passenger transportation development strategy,aims to explore the road route passenger transportation development path.First of all,this paper summarizes the research progress of domestic and foreign scholars in the road route passenger transport,analyzes the existing research results and puts forwards the research idea and method.Secondly,it analyzes the developing status of the road route passenger transport and the high-speed railway passenger transport,explores their differences on operating environment,economic and technological characteristic,features and the demands change of the passenger flow.Thirdly,it analyzes the impact factors of high-speed railway passenger transport on the road route passenger transport.Taking Xi'an as an example,it empirically analyses the impacts of high-speed railway passenger transport on the road route passenger transport.Finally,based on the above analysis,it gives five aspects strategy of road route passenger transport from adaptive cooperative,transition avoidance,organizational change,technological innovation,and government policy.The study shows that the development of high-speed railway passenger transportation has greatly shocked the road route passenger transportation.Meanwhile,it has positive influence too.Compared with the high-speed railway passenger transportation,the road route passenger transportation has disadvantage and advantage.Therefore,the road route passenger transportation should foster strengths,avoid weaknesses,strengthen its cooperation with high-speed railway passenger transportation,and makes flexible and various strategies to realize its sustainable development.
