With the implementation of the "Nurly Zhol" strategy,Kazakhstan's economic situation is constantly improving, the economic structure has become more reasonable and it also puts forward higher requirements for the construction of transport infrastructure. As an important node country along the “One Belt,One Road”,China and Kazakhstan signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of railway construction, which has played a positive role in promoting railway construction in Kazakhstan. However, the distribution of the road network in Kazakhstan still has problems such as insufficient density and insufficient promotion of economic development. To this end,it is necessary to formulate a railway construction plan based on Kazakhstan's overall regional development plan, natural resource distribution, and topographical conditions. The construction period is of great significance in order to achieve dynamic, intuitive, and economic development that is suitable for railway planning decisions and for rational planning of road network layout and construction. With the help of the powerful spatial statistical analysis function of ArcGIS,the thesis studies the expansion law of Kazakhstan's road network and its coupling relationship with the economy, and determines it's future railway development plan. This paper is structured as follows:1)Study on the scale calculation of railway road network and its coupling evaluation method with economyThe in-depth study of several types of calculation method systems for the existing road network scale calculation, analysis of the main technical indicators affecting the calculation of the road network scale,it is recommended to use a combination of accessibility and road network density for comprehensive evaluation of the railway road network.Aiming at the constructed railway-economic system coupling coordination model, the road network density and GDP density are used as system analysis indicators to calculate the coupling coordination degree, and the recommended evaluation reference standards are given.2)Construction of GIS-based Kazakhstan Railway Road Network Geographic DatabaseThrough a large number of survey data, combined with the major nodes of railway construction in Kazakhstan, the railway line data, population, and GDP data of each state in each year were imported into the constructed GIS geographic database, and the three years of 2004,2010,and 2016 were selected to produce the railway network,Road network density and population density,GDP and other thematic maps.3)Conduct road network needs analysis by stateBy calculating the correlation between the population,GDP and road network density of each state in Kazakhstan,a road network demand model is constructed, and the functional expression between railway road network density and population density and GDP density is calculated using multiple regression analysis theory.Economic and population development planning data over a certain period of time, acquired to ascertain the future of each state, predicts that road network density would be required with in 2022 and 2030.4)Study on the construction planning of the railway network of various continents through the analysis of the coordination coupling modelBased on the analysis of the road network accessibility of each state,a coordinated coupling degree calculation model is established, and the corresponding index weights are determined to analyze the coupling relationship between the regional economic development of each state and the road network.Comprehensively consider the cooperation between China and Kazakhstan in the field of railway construction, and put forward feasible suggestions for road network construction planning of each state.
