Research On The Organic Renewal Of The Historical District Of Yangqiao Ancient Town

Historical blocks are part of the city and precious cultural material resources.In recent years,with the rapid development of urbanization,some historical and cultural blocks have been tragically damaged.On the other hand,due to changes in people’s lifestyles and social functional needs,the composition pattern of traditional neighborhoods is no longer applicable.Therefore,how to properly protect and update historical and cultural blocks,and how to adapt historical blocks to the present and future are the core issues of this study.This article takes Yangqiao Ancient Town historical block as the research object,and starts from the regional urban texture and combines the theory of organic renewal to explore and design it,so as to provide reference for the protection and development of traditional historical blocks.This article studies the organic renewal and transformation of the historical blocks in Yangqiao Ancient Town,Changzhou City,Jiangsu Province.Many regions and cities have neighborhoods known for their strong historical and cultural atmosphere.These neighborhoods can create a unique sense of place and cognition.They are an important part of local charm and vitality.Therefore,for cultural districts,maintaining their own regional culture Characteristics are very important.Aiming at some problems existing in the historical district at this stage and the disadvantages of the remodeling model,taking the historical district of Yangqiao Ancient Town as an example,by exploring the regeneration design strategy of the historical district of Yangqiao Ancient Town,this paper studies how to conduct research on architecture,street space and cultural resources.Organically updated design to achieve the goal of revitalizing historical and cultural districts.The purpose of this updated design is not only to create a better living space in the historical district,but also to enhance the local cultural quality.Starting from the concept of "organic renewal",we will explore how to continue the local cultural characteristics as much as possible,so that the regional culture originally owned by the historic district can be protected,and the spiritual pursuit of local residents can be continued.A viable path to viability.
