With the rapid growth of the number of cars in the world today,the problem of traffic congestion has become a common problem around the world.The limited road resources and the unlimited expansion of the number of cars make it impossible to solve the problem of traffic congestion by using traditional road construction bridges.At present,the autonomous driving technologies that countries around the world are working on will provide new ideas for solving the problem of traffic jams.At present,some autonomous vehicles have entered urban roads.In the next few decades,autonomous vehicles will become an important part of the transportation system.The urban traffic flow will be a manual-automated mixed traffic flow for a long time.Research is needed on this new traffic flow.As the most important part of public transportation,buses are likely to become the first self-driving vehicles to land on urban roads because their driving routes and departure times are relatively fixed.The mixed traffic flow characteristics of manually driven cars.The thesis applies cellular automata to the field of urban transportation.Considering the difference in response time between autonomous and manually driven vehicles,the classic Gipps safety distance rule is introduced.Cellular automaton model of mixed traffic flow with variable safety distance.Matlab simulation software is used to simulate and simulate the manual-automatic mixed traffic flow model of one-way two-lane and mixed traffic flow model including autonomous driving bus lineup.And through the space-time map,traffic flow basic map,etc.,the traffic flow characteristics in these two types of traffic environment into the in-depth and systematic research.Through research,it is found that in the analysis of the characteristics of the dual-lane manual-autonomous driving mixed traffic flow,the automatic driving technology has a significant effect on improving road capacity in the low-density free-flow area of the traffic flow.The improvement of road capacity in the flow area is not obvious.According to numerical calculations,in the free flow area,the maximum traffic volume of purely self-driving buses is 1.3 times higher than that of pure manual cars.The maximum traffic volume of an automatic bus is approximately 1.9 times the maximum traffic volume of a manually driven bus.The simulation analysis of the mixed traffic flow of automatic driving in line is carried out.The conclusion shows that the line of vehicles can improve the road congestion status.Capacity and average speed of traffic flow,and the larger the number of convoys,the more significant the increase in traffic and speed.With the same density,an increase in the number of teams will also reduce the number of lane changes.Finally,it is concluded that the research on autonomous driving technology at this stage is of practical significance,and the development of autonomous driving technology will effectively alleviate the current road congestion phenomenon.
