Today's world is in the gestation period of a new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial revolution.The leading role of scientific and technological innovation in society is increasingly prominent.The demand of economic transformation for high-quality human resources is growing.How to cultivate new talents facing the future,improve students' scientific research ability,innovation ability and the ability to solve complex problems,has become a common era course for all countries Question.Nowadays,in order to improve the comprehensive competitiveness,steam education has been included in the important measures to cultivate high-quality talents.Steam education is not only an educational concept of cultivating innovative talents in the information age,but also a teaching method of "people-oriented" and real problems oriented.Our country also began to vigorously develop steam education construction,no matter in the education curriculum system or education construction,there have been many changes.At the same time,as the carrier of basic education,the spatial combination mode and spatial function distribution of primary school campus space have a significant impact on students' learning and life.Therefore,in order to make the education building more in line with the needs of steam education concept and maximize the educational function,the reform of campus space needs to happen.Based on the above background,this paper first analyzes the related concepts of steam education,derived from the concept of steam education to the concept of steam teaching complex,and puts forward the system structure organization of steam teaching complex.Then,based on the study of pupils' psychological behavior,this paper summarizes the needs of different age groups for the space of steam teaching complex on campus.Then,taking four primary schools as the main research objects,through the field survey of their campus space,it is concluded that the expansion of enrollment in some schools in China's ordinary primary schools leads to the shortage of campus land;many spaces in the campus are in vain,with low utilization rate,resulting in waste of resources;the layout of classrooms is single and inflexible;the space construction fails to keep up with the development of education concept or curriculum system,Relatively backward and other issues.Then,according to the comparison of the space classification between the general primary school and the steam teaching complex,this paper summarizes the differences between the two;and through the comparison of the space combination mode between the general primary school and the steam teaching complex,the steam teaching complex design project in Guanggu No The design practice is divided into interior space.Finally,it designs the steam teaching complex of Guanggu Fourth Road Primary School,which meets the characteristics of multiple spatial functions and multi-level campus structure.This paper puts forward a teaching complex design point of view that adapts to the steam concept,hoping to contribute to enriching and developing the theory of primary school campus space construction,and also to provide design reference for the construction of primary school or related education areas in the future.
