Because of its sudden and destructive nature,earthquakes often cause damage to structures and facilities,meanwhile,bring economic losses.The water supply system is one of the essential infrastructures for the normal operation of a city.With the progress of science and technology and the increase of urban water demand,the scale of water supply pipe network in the water supply system is expanding day by day.Historical data show that once the water supply system is damaged in an earthquake,it will not only seriously affect people’s water use in the earthquake-stricken areas,but also cause huge economic losses.In China,the loss caused by earthquake is mainly borne by the government,which brings a burden to the national finance.The establishment of earthquake insurance system can promote the stability of the national finance.The determination of earthquake insurance rate is inseparable from the analysis of structural vulnerability and loss rate.The water pool and pipe network in the water supply system are typical key water supply facilities.The water pool is divided into water treatment pool and clean pool according to its function.The water supply network consists of different pipes of different diameters.For actual needs of earthquake insurance,the vulnerability of water pool and water supply pipeline network was analyzed,the vulnerability curves of water pool and the corresponding relationship between the seismic damage rate of different pipes and the peak ground acceleration in the water supply network were given,the loss rates of water pool and water supply pipeline network were determined,and the corresponding seismic loss assessment program of water supply system was worked out.The main contents are as followings:1.Based on the vulnerability matrix of the clean water pool and the water treatment pool,the vulnerability curves of the clean water pool and the water treatment pool were analyzed and drawn by the log-normal distribution function.According to the loss ratio under different failure levels of the pool,the loss rates under different seismic parameters of the pool were determined.Loss rate curves of the clean water pool and the water treatment pool were drawn.The comprehensive seismic vulnerability curve of the pools was analyzed and drawn.2.This paper introduced the characteristics of different pipe supply pipelines,Firstly,based on the empirical statistical model of earthquake damage of water supply pipe network.,the corresponding relationship between the seismic damage rate of different pipes and the peak ground acceleration were obtained by fitting.And then the seismic damage rates of different pipes with different pipe diameters according to the empirical formula of seismic damage of water supply pipe network were calculated.The corresponding relationship between the seismic damage rate of different pipes and the peak ground acceleration with different pipe diameters were given through fitting.The proportion of pipes with different diameters was obtained by analyzing the data.The corresponding relationship between the seismic damage rate of different pipes and the peak ground acceleration of pipes were drawn.The corresponding relationship between the seismic damage rate of different pipes and the peak ground acceleration obtained by the two models were compared.Combined with the loss ratio of different failure states of the water supply network,the earthquake loss rates of different pipes under different earthquake intensities were calculated.The corresponding relation between seismic loss rate and peak ground acceleration is obtained by fitting.3.The proportion of assets of water supply system was explored preliminarily,and the cost of water pool and different pipes were obtained by consulting data.According to the data of different levels of water supply system,the method of calculating earthquake loss rate was given,and the program of seismic loss analysis of water supply system is worked out.An example was given to verify the reliability of the program.
