A Premier Study On The Renewal Strategy Of Rural Public Space Under The Concept Of Community Revitalization

The rural public space plays an important role in the entire rural system.It is not only closely related to the life and production of the villagers,but also maintains the emotion of the rural community and carries the historical culture of the village.Therefore,the vitality of rural public space directly affects the rise and fall of rural areas,as a result,it is necessary to focus on the rural public space in rural renewal and construction.Under the concept of community revitalization,this thesis explores the renewal strategy of rural public space by using the research methods of literature review,field survey and research,statistical analysis,and interdisciplinary and drawing on the knowledge of related disciplines such as architecture,urban and rural planning,landscape architecture and sociology,and so on.First of all,the thesis interprets the rural public space and the concept of community revitalization.Combined with relatively more successful practical cases at home and abroad,a detailed analysis is carried out from aspects of space form,space function,space construction and construction methods to explore the advantages and disadvantages of the rural public space construction effectiveness,so as to show the applicability and feasibility of the community revitalization concept involved in the construction of rural public space in China.Secondly,supported by the realistic background of rural public space in China,the thesis provides the renewal strategy of rural public space under the concept of community revitalization.Namely,the design should adhere to six principles of integrity,publicity,demonstration,locality,compounding and sustainable operation and combine with the five major issues of the community revitalization to conduct a comprehensive renewal of the rural public space.In terms of layout selection,the design should adapt to local conditions and achieve a reasonable proportion in quantity and area;in regard of morphological optimization,the designer should consider in an all-round manner,taking into account of multiple principles,including relevant elements of geographic location,historical culture,and spatial function,etc;as for function renewal,designer should be forward-looking so as to not only meet the current functional requirements but also leave room for future spatial development;in the continuation of the landscape,the design should protect the natural ecological landscape and create rural regional characteristics.While in the construction,it is necessary to focus on enhancing the villagers' awareness of self-involvement and self-identity,by which a construction mechanism can be built with cooperation andparticipation of multiple parties.Finally,putting the theory into practice.The strategy mentioned above is applied to the construction of public spaces in Baihua School Village,Lujiang County,Anhui Province to verify the effectiveness of the research results of this thesis.Figure [69] table [27] reference [80]...
