Research On The Design Of Children's Activity Space In Residential Area Based On Holistic View

Children are the future of the country and the hope of the nation,the healthy growth of children is directly related to the development of the country and society.With the official opening of the two-child policy,the number of children will increase to some extent in the future.As one of the places where children contact most frequently,the public space in residential areas should be paid more attention to.Through investigation,it is found that the design and construction of public space in residential areas tend to pursue formal aesthetics too much,ignoring the actual needs of residents' activities and communication,and the design of children's activity space also tends to be simplified and stereotyped.The traditional design thinking and way of equating children's activity space in residential areas with children's playground has been unable to meet children's increasingly diverse activity needs.This paper introduces the concept of "holistic view" in the design of children's activity space in residential areas,aiming to bring the design of children's activity space into the overall level of the activity space in residential areas for thinking.The research is carried out from two directions: one is to sort out the related theories of developmental psychology and environmental psychology,and summarize the development characteristics,activity psychology and the correlation between children's behavior and environment.Based on the investigation of children's activities in typical residential areas,this paper analyzes the rules and characteristics of children's activities in residential areas,and summarizes the characteristics and existing problems of children's activity Spaces in residential areas.The second is to discuss the types and layout elements of public space in residential areas,to understand the characteristics and needs of public activities of different groups in residential areas,and to find the shortcomings of the existing design of public activity space.The above two directions are integrated,and the activity space and activity elements at all levels in the residential area are taken into overall consideration.Combined with the mutual influence of children's activities and other groups' activities,the planning and design of children's activity space are carried out from an overall perspective.Based on the overall thinking of residential children activity space,on the basis of children's activities,expanded the research scope from single children playground to the whole residential area of public space,understand the characteristics of the children's activities and interactions in the residential area as well as their actual activity demand in the residential area,in view of the existing residential area problems of children activity space in use process,expect to find children activity space and residential area is both the main contradiction between environment and facilities.According to improving the quality of the public space of residential and residential community activity type,in the perspective of the whole residential area of children activity space types and the design requirements,and have practical design method is proposed,in order to guide the actual design,to realize more high-quality living environment and more harmonious neighborhood relationship.
