Study On The Optimization Strategy Of Child-Friendly Open Space In Residential Area Based On Affordance Theory

The residential area is the micro-perspective of urban planning and development.The reasonable design and planning of the external space of the residential area should not only ensure that children can enjoy a place to play,but also serve as a place for social,economic and cultural activities and a carrier for expressing and inheriting regional culture.At the same time,the relationship between children’s activities and their healthy growth and cognitive development is closely linked.The refined design of outdoor space will encourage children to release their nature,improve their spatial perception,and finally achieve the goal of learning and development in activities.This study focuses on urban settlements outside space,through the theoretical research and empirical analysis to explore children’s activities and a series of issues related to the settlements of the outer space,urban residential properties of outer space support children in activities-availability,child-friendly and problems of the study of outer space and puts forward design methodology based on availability study,Finally,the author puts forward a child-friendly optimization strategy for the outer space of urban settlements.It is a good vision for children’s development and urban development to improve their physical function and development ability in a friendly environment.Firstly,the study sorted out a series of relevant basic theories,and then made a preliminary analysis of the external space of urban residential areas from the aspects of the evolution process,components and functions,and planning factors.In the aspect of children subject research,children’s outdoor activity types,activity development,cognitive development and other aspects of children’s activities were summarized and analyzed.Through the analysis of the theory of availability and the case,the external space is connected with the main body of children,and the framework of the external space of the residential area is constructed.By studying the external space of three representative residential areas in Hefei: Wanghu City,Baizhuang and Binhu Century City,the basic spatial situation of traffic flow,accessibility,landscape elements and other aspects was investigated.Through the behavior observation of children’s activities,the characteristics of children’s population,the type of outdoor activities and the characteristics of spatial and temporal distribution were studied.On the basis of investigation,this paper summarizes the relationship between children’s outdoor activities and the external space of residential areas,and extracts the regional characteristics and essential features that affect children’s activity characteristics.Then on the basis of investigation and analysis in chapter chapter,child-friendly and problems of the external space of residential areas are classified summary,used to produce availability,perceived lack of availability,and the spatial structure of the single further analyzes the cause of the problem,based on the availability of theory and practice analysis to extract availability space design methodology,On this basis,the author puts forward the optimization strategy of the external space of child-friendly residential areas in different layers,and provides child-friendly guidance for the design of the external space of residential areas from three spatial levels: residential park-residential garden and green space group-special activity site.
