With the development of urbanization and the contradiction between the shortage of urban land resources and the construction of ecological green space, the greening of roof space has received more and more attention. At the same time, the public's requirements for living environment and urban greening landscape design have gradually changed from satisfying people's basic needs for leisure and recreation to satisfying people's psychological aesthetics and inner emotions. In this paper, based on the background of the construction of the roof garden, xiamen visual perception to the viewer as a starting point,to xiamen roof greening landscape as the evaluation objects, through the urban roof greening landscape construction, access to the viewer to the visual perception differences of different roof greening landscape, roof greening plant landscape pattern and urban construction background elements of different professional backgrounds were the specific influence visual perception. And try to record the relevant data of the subject's eye movements to analyze the subject's psychological feelings and cognitive activities, and use physiological indicators to reflect the psychological feelings and cognition. The main research conclusions are as follows: 1.Plant greening can increase the sense of security of roof space. The plant landscape with rich form and color changes is more favored by viewers in visual appreciation. And the green plant form with strict form and clear boundary is more conducive to shaping the sense of order of roof space. The mixed shrub green roof landscape has obvious advantages in aesthetic feeling and attraction among different roof landscape plants. In the sense of spatial order, the herb and plastic shrub greening was superior to the mixed shrub greening.2.There is also an important relationship between the landscape quality in the roof space and the coordinated design of the surrounding urban architectural background. The feedback source of spatial impression, such as the aesthetic feeling of roof landscape,is not limited to roof greening plants. The change of urban building background also has a significant influence on the visual perception evaluation of roof greening landscape.3.Differences in landscape aesthetics and preferences between professional group and non-professional group. The professional group is highly sensitive to greening, pays attention to the design and combination of plant landscape, and is more clear and logical in the field of deep psychological perception. The non-professional group had a certain tolerance to the negative emotions of the landscape, and paid more attention to the unity of the forms and colors of the plant landscape.4.Eye tracker data is helpful for in-depth analysis of the effect of roof greening and improvement of subjective evaluation results.Correlation analysis was conducted between the results of eye movement experiment and subjective evaluation results, and significant positive correlation was found between the number of fixation times, total fixation time, comfort, security, color richness, element richness, and vegetation diversity. There was a significant negative correlation between the total saccade time of plant greening and the sense of coordination and hierarchy. There is a significant positive correlation between the number of fixation, total fixation time and color richness in urban architectural background, and a significant negative correlation between it and the sense of security. There is a significant negative correlation between the average fixation time, comfort and rhythm in urban architectural background. The analysis results of eye movement data are consistent with the subjective evaluation, which increases the objectivity of the subjective evaluation results.
