Research On The Relationship Between Waterpool System And Human Settlements Development From The Perspective Of Functional Wetland

The waterpool system is a kind of water conservancy facility produced by the ancients to improve the natural wetland environment to meet the needs of production and life.It is used to solve the contradiction in the time distribution and the space water level elevation between the water source and the water demand.With the development of human settlements,the waterpool system has been continuously improved,they are closely related in space structure,service function and cultural development.The construction of the waterpool system in the historical period provides a good and sustainable environmental foundation for the development of human settlements,they form a stable wetland human settlement system in the long-term interaction.On the contrary,in the construction of high-density and rapid urbanization,a large number of wetlands are filled,revetments are hardened,and drainage relies on gray infrastructure such as sewer,ditch and drainage pump station.The body of surface water is decreasing,the water quality is getting worse,and the urban waterlogging is increasing.Instead of creating a better living environment for modern cities,the blind transformation of nature has led to the destruction of the original wetland living pattern.However,the construction of waterpool system and human settlements has been tested for thousands of years,and the interaction between them is harmonious and fruitful.It contains a lot of wisdom of wetland human settlements,which is worth learning at present.This research chooses Shaoxing as the object,which has a long history span and the typical development of poolwater system and human settlements.Based on the theory of functional wetland,this paper discusses the relationship between waterpool system and human settlements in Shaoxing area in terms of the development of ecological stability,spatial structure,service function and cultural development,from the Yue to the Qing Dynasty.To explore the mutual benefits of ancient waterpool system and human settlements,and to summarize and extract the construction strategies suitable for modern wetland human settlements.
