With the continuous increase in the number and scale of China 's airport construction and the increase in extreme rainstorms in recent years,China 's airports are facing increasingly severe floods.At present,the construction of the airport 's rainwater flood prevention planning system in China is not comprehensive,and the existing drainage system of the airport cannot cope with the increasingly severe extreme rainstorm weather,and floods occur from time to time.Therefore,the flood problem has become the core problem to be solved by the sponge airport comprehensive rainwater prevention and control system.In this paper,a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of the current status of research at home and abroad,drawing on examples of rainwater flood control at foreign airports,combining low-impact development systems and large and small drainage systems from foreign countries,presents a drainage system suitable for China.In view of the relatively weak construction of the airport's large drainage system in China,the construction idea of "the ecological transformation of the airport paddock river and the balanced transformation of the airport storage facilities" was proposed.In the design and research of the comprehensive flood prevention and control project of the sponge airport,a new type of storage tank with purification and large-in slow-release functions was proposed.Finally,calculation method for the scale of rainwater storage facilities at Sponge Airport.In the case study process,taking Ezhun Shunfeng Airport in Hubei Province as an example,by analyzing the background conditions of Shunfeng Airport,a sponge airport with “field drainage + new storage tank purification + Huama Lake storage + Yangtze River flood discharge” was proposed.The overall framework of the comprehensive flood prevention and control of Shunfeng Airport,and according to the "Airport Low Impact Development System + Airport Small Drainage System",it can cope with the storm runoff with a recurrence period of 10 years,and the airport large drainage system can resist the storm runoff with a recurrence period of 50 years.The types of low-impact development measures for the airport and the scale of the new type storage tank were determined.
