Research On Storage Management Strategy Of Spare Parts In Tangshan Caofeidian Industrial Port Co.Ltd

With the development of economic globalization,the port competition around the Bohai Sea is becoming more fierce.In order to make the port equipment run normally,the storage management of spare parts is a necessary condition to ensure the smooth daily operations,therefore many port enterprises pay more attention to this problem.Tangshan Caofeidian Industrial Port Co.,Ltd.is a young port enterprise,it is developing rapidly.O n the basis of summarizing the related research on material storage management at home and abroad,this paper,tak ing this enterprise as the research object,combs its current situation of storage management of spare parts by using the relevant theories of storage management and logistics management,and finds out the existing problems,such as non-consideration of importance in classifying spare parts,no-order of incoming spare parts,low efficiency of return and exchange goods,incomplete procedures in dispathing spare parts,non-scientific of spare parts reserve amount,lack of spare parts utilization rate turnover rate inventory age statistics.By analyzing the causes of the existing problems and investigating in the field,the strategies of improving the storage management of spare parts are raised,including classifying all the spare parts in stock according to unit price,value and category number based on ABC method,then further classify C kind by CVA method,and applying the concept of "material supermarket" to the management of spare parts storage operation,proposed additional inventory manager for spare parts warehousing inventory management.The application of these strategies will make all spare parts management work more transparent,standardized and scientific,so as to further improve the company's spare parts storage management level and operational efficiency and reduce storage costs.The result of this research has important guiding significance for the enterprises to establish sustainable spare parts storage management and to shape a better management atmosphere.
